LUSTRE

Lustre prints are printed on Fujifilm’s Super Type PDN Lustre Paper – the longest lasting of their silver halide paper types, designed to produce high quality digital prints.
The standard for professional digital printing, Lustre is a semi-glossy paper type with a textured feel. It yields lifelike color reproduction and high color saturation. Accurate whites enable improved highlight details and deep blacks give depth to shadows in the images. Lustre prints are exceptional at showing natural skin tone gradation and the high maximum density (D-max) allows for a wide tonal range. The Super Type PDN Lustre Paper features a high level of image stability that is ideal for display.

METALLIC GLOSS

Metallic gloss prints are printed on Fujifilm’s Digital Pearl Paper – a silver halide color paper type. Prints made on Fujifilm’s Pearl paper are similar in appearance to those produced with Kodak’s Metallic paper type. Pearl (Metallic) is a thick base, high stiffness paper with a glossy sheen and smooth surface. Pearly mica crystals are embedded in the paper, giving the print a silver-white, metallic appearance. Scattering and interference of light on the crystals are what produces this pearl-like look. Pearl paper prints feature a vibrant color reproduction, rich color saturation, and a high maximum density (D-max) allowing for a wide tonal range. DEEP MATTE

Deep matte prints are printed on Fujifilm’s Professional Deep Matte Paper – one of their newest silver halide color paper types, designed to produce high quality digital prints. Prints on Deep Matte have a unique matte finish and a soft, smooth texture. The paper has a lusterless surface with no glare or reflection. Deep Matte gives prints accurate color reproduction with subtlety and warmth. Pure whites and deep blacks make images come out clear and distinct. Fujifilm’s Deep Matte paper was designed for large format, professional printing and is perfect for capturing warm scenes and skin tones as well as printing black and white images. Prints made on this paper have the highest level of silver halide image stability and are ideal for display.
